had my church on the way to work this morning

everyone knows all the cool kids play summer's "friday, i'm in love" game. so get on it already!!

first off, i LOVE that this is the first thing i see leaving my house this morning.

isn't it gorgeous!?! the dogwood was sad on monday, covered in half-assed greenish little flowers....nothing like this beauty. it's like magically in the last 2 days, it burst into bloom...just in time for easter!!

our other 2 dogwoods are still on the sad side...but this totally makes up for it. now if only the azaleas would hurry up and bloom, since they're my FAVORITES.

and speaking of easter....i'm not really a church kind of girl. i was brought up to believe you don't need 4 walls and stained glass to worship, and you don't need a book written by man, to know God. so that's how i've always felt...i pray when i need it, i thank whoever is in charge when i'm feeling so blessed i can barely contain it....its just how i am. no church, no Bible, no music, no preacher. just me. and God.

so this morning, when i'm rocking out to an old mix CD and this comes on...it was my little worship service in my malibu.

seriously....isn't this the best part of the WHOLE movie?!

i'm also really excited old navy has polos on sale tomorrow...but i'm a little worried they'll run out of my size since they're so cheap, and i don't wanna wake up super early to get them!!
