this is basically gonna be my life come thursday afternoon....
...okay, so i've never actually BEEN on a cruise. so i can't confirm or deny that 1) t-pain will be there or 2) anyone will offer up a nautical-themed pashmina afghan.
BUT i do know i'll be on a boat...for a bachelorette cruise!! HOLLAAAA. it's my first married-lady bachelorette party...so it should be awesome.
i'm trying to get my packing list in order....and i'm pretty sure i'm gonna be taking my entire closet. need casual clothes for during the day, dressy stuff for dinner, and then a change option for "going out" at night...
speaking of....anyone got tried and true tips on sneaking some adult beverages on board??

I have no tips, but have fun on your trip!
i've only been on a cruise once. i was 16 and suffering from the stomach flu. it was just nasty.
i doubt i can help you with smuggling the jesus juice on board but what about water bottles? not very original but it might work. oh or you can try filling medicine bottles like nyquil with liquor.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed that my next girlfriend to get married will do a cruise. That sounds like so much fun!
My little muffin Erin's boyfriend has been known to fashion vests out of plastic canteen bags, fill them with goodness, and wear them onboard under his clothes. But he's a dude and his clothes fit bigger than ours...
I have been on two cruises and although I haven't tried to smuggle some goodness on them yet, you can try. Beware that your luggage does go through security though and you go through security every time you get off and on the boat at the ports of call so it will be really hard to. Do stock up on the alcohol on the boat and you can stash it in your suitcase. I have lots of tips and advice if you ever need any. PM me on the next if you need any! Have fun!!!

We must not have had very good security on our Carnival cruise, we just packed a couple bottles in our luggage and took it right on. No problems. :)

It's too late now for advice about sneaking alcohol on board. Hope you figured it out!
Ok so I am to late with this but put your booze in your check in luggage. You can lock it and it gets taken away and dropped of to your room later the first evening. Tip th porter that takes it from you at the curb. Also get plastic bottles not glass if you can. Beer is sold in the aluminum cans, FYI so you can take a collapsible cooler with you, go to the lido deck and order 2 beers. They will bring them in an ice bucket. just keep putting the empties in your cooler and refilling with your own beer.
You can get a soda card and a carnival cruise cup. Load up your booze in your carnival cup and go get you free refill. An do not worry about house keeping, they have sen it all!
We have done this for 4 cruises, no problem Carnival and Royal Caribbean.
